What is Be Bold Changemakers? Be Bold for Change is an organization that aims to embolden and equip changemakers to close the gender gap. Be Bold invites International Coalition of Girls School (ICGS) members to participate in an innovative pilot program, called the Bold Changemakers Challenge launching this October 2024 and will run through May 2025. This unique initiative is designed to empower 13-to-15-year students to become the advocates and leaders of tomorrow. Through engaging workshops, collaborative projects, and a supportive community, students will learn to use their voice, talent, and agency to drive change
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Kick Off (October 2024):

Nominate one Faculty Sponsor and one Student Ambassador per school.
Inspire & Skill Up (October 2024 - March 2025):
-
Join the virtual Launch event during the week of the Day of the International Girls (22 or 29 Oct 2024)
-
Participate in four monthly virtual workshops led by experts (Nov 2024 to March 2025).

Topics include: personal health and wellness; using technology for good; developing your voice; and innovative solution design.
-
Workshops will be held in two time zones and recorded for convenience.
Pitch Solutions (April / May 2025):

Collaborate with other schools to solve real-world challenges.

Form cross-school teams to participate in the Changemaker Challenge.

Design solutions for gender equality and climate sustainability issues.

Present solutions to a panel of female leaders from organizations like UNESCO and Microsoft

Recruit Participants: Select one Student Ambassador and one Faculty Sponsor per school.
