About the event

📣 Calling all bold girls and allies from 7th to 12th grade who are passionate about becoming changemakers!

  • Are there things that make you mad, sad or frustrated and you wish you can change it?

  • Do you have an idea that you feel passionate about but don't know where to start or how to make it happen?

  • Have you ever wondered how you can apply your unique leadership strengths to drive meaningful change?

Design thinking is a mindset used to design for change. During this session, you'll be working with like-minded peers guided by an experienced professional at your table, to learn how to center your solution on the human experience, ideate playfully and creatively, and collaborate with others to develop a prototype of an initial solution. We'll share tools and approaches to apply these skills to create positive impact, and provide real-time feedback and coaching.

Particularly for those who are planning to join our Changemaker Challenge, this will be a perfect opportunity to form a team during the session to start designing your solution and receiving coaching from professional experts. You will discover the unique leadership strengths that you bring to your team, and learn how to form successful, collaborative teams!

Meet our design thinking experts from Accenture

We will be joined by design thinking expert facilitators from Accenture, a leading professional services organization. Together they bring a wealth of experience applying design thinking principles to break down and solve problems that impact people. They will facilitate various design thinking exercises to apply your learning to begin to draft a real-world solution to make the change you want to see, now.

Join us and bring your bold ideas to life to create big impact!
